ICONAILS BY CATRICE

Today's post is all about the new nail polishes ICONails by Catrice Cosmetics. I received a few colours to test out and I wasn't expecting to like them, because I'm quite pretentious when it comes to nail polish, but I actually did, so I wanted to share why.

Днешният пост ще е за новата серия лакове на Catrice ICONails. Получих няколко цвята за проба и не очаквах да ги харесам, защото съм доста претенциозна, когато става въпрос за лак за нокти, но ги харесах и искам да споделя защо.

The collection has 36 colours altogether and I have 5, which are quite various. I usually only wear whites, creams and beiges and rarely stray from them (with the occasional red). I can definitely see myself wearing all of these though.

Колекцията има общо 36 цвята, а аз имам 5, които са доста разнообразни. Обикновено нося само бяло, кремаво или бежово и рядко каквото и да е друго (понякога червено). Обаче определено се виждам с всички тези.

The packaging is quite cute and the polishes have a big removable cap. You get a good amount for the price, too.

The brush is standard to thick and the application is very easy. I think it's the right time to note that everyone's nails are different and the same formula doesn't work for everyone. I could easily compare these to Essie quality.

I'd say as far as pigmentation goes, they're pretty standard - meaning if you want good coverage, you need to apply two layers. They dry down quickly enough for me and the best part - they do live up to the expectations. As stated, they last 7 days without a top coat, which is how I've worn them, but a top coat would definitely extend the longevity.

I wanted to get some of those plastic nail things they have in salons, but I couldn't find any, so I swatched the colours on paper. I'm definitely gonna be wearing the first three this summer and the other two I'm going to save for autumn and winter.

Исках да взема от онези пластмасови неща като в салоните, но не намерих никъде, така че ги суочнах на хартия. Определено ще нося първите три цвята това лято, а останалите два ще оставя за есента и зимата.

So all in all, I'm very impressed with these nail polishes and I'm even planning on buying some myself. I didn't have to post about them, I wasn't paid and so on, but just wanted to share this great budget find. Will you be trying them?

HIGHLIGHTER COLLECTION

I noticed that I've stacked up a decent pile of highlighters recently, so I decided to put them in a post and tell you what I think about them. Some of them were sent as PR from the companies, but most of them I bought myself.

Забелязах, че съм натрупала стабилно количество хайлайтъри напоследък, така че реших да ги събера в пост и да ви кажа какво мисля за тях. Някои са ми пратени като PR, но повечето съм си ги купила сама.

Becca Pearl & Champagne Pop

Let's start with the most popular ones. I first got Champagne Pop and loved it, but it was too dark for my pale skin (works for me only when I have fake tan on), so I wanted to give the brand another go, because the quality of the products is really up there. I ordered Pearl, which is completely white and is perfect for me. They're both so intense and long lasting, which I love, but I wouldn't recommend them to someone who's into a more natural look.

Първо се сдобих с Champagne Pop, който е страхотен, но твърде тъмен за бледата ми кожа (нося го само когато имам изкуствен тен), така че исках да дам още един шанс на марката, защото качеството на продуктите наистина е високо. Поръчах си Pearl, който е напълно бял и е перфектен за мен. И двата са много наситени и дълготрайни, което обожавам, но не бих ги препоръчала на някой, който предпочита естествен грим.

theBalm Mary Loumanizer

This iconic highlighter is probably my most used one and it's been through a lot - it fell and shattered, but I miraculously managed to save it. I've included it in so many posts, which you can read here, here, here, here and here, so you already know I love it.

Catrice Deluxe Glow Highlighter, High Glow & Prismatic Pink

I bought the High Glow highlighter a long time ago, because I didn't have this many products then and wanted variety. It's still a very good one, but it cracked and part of it fell without me dropping it, which I think is due to the fact that it's mineralized. I received the palette and the Prismatic Pink ones from the company and they are quite different - all the colours in the palette are very subtle, which is not my thing, but the pink highlighter is way more opaque and almost duochrome, which is so different from everything else I own and I love it.

Купих си High Glow преди доста време, защото нямах толкова много продукти тогава и исках разнообразие. Все още е добър, но се пукна и част от него падна без да съм го изпускала, което мисля, че е поради факта, че е минерализиран. Получих палитрата и Prismatic Pink от марката и са доста различни - всички цветове в палитрата са много бледи, което не ми допада, но розовият хайлайтър е много по-наситен и почти холографен, което се отличава от всичко останало, което имам и го обожавам.

Catrice Face Glow Definer

This is the only liquid highlighter I have and again, I received as PR, but boy am I impressed. It's so opaque it could be compared to the Becca ones. It's a nice gold/champagne colour and is almost the same as Champagne Pop, so if you're looking for a dupe, this is it. The only downsides are that 1) it dries very quickly, so you have to blend it fast and 2) I think it's limited edition.

Това е единственият течен хайлайтър, който имам и отново го получих като PR, но наистина съм впечатлена. Толкова е наситен, че може да се сравни с тези на Becca. Златен/шампанско цвят е и е почти еднакъв с Champagne Pop, така че ако си търсите двойник, това е той. Essence Light Up Your Face Palette

This is another face palette I received as PR, but it's very different from the one by Catrice. It has 3 colours and the first one is very chalky and not a good colour, but the other two are great - opaque enough and not as subtle.

Това е още една палитра, която получих като PR, но е много различна от тази на Catrice. Има 3 цвята и първият е много тебеширен и не хубав цвят, но другите два са страхотни - достатъчно наситени и не са бледи.

Here are all the swatches with and without flash, starting from the Catrice liquid at the top, Pearl, Champagne Pop, Mary Loumanizer, High Glow by Catrice, Prismatic Pink and then the two palettes.

TOO FACED SWEET PEACH PALETTE REVIEW

How many eyeshadow palettes do I need? I don't really have an answer, but it's definitely less than I currently own. However, since this one is the newest addition to the family and I literally haven't stopped using it since I bought it, I wanted to do a review on it - the Sweet Peach palette by TooFaced.

Колко палитри със сенки ми трябват? Нямам отговор, но определно по-малко отколкото имам в момента. Въпреки това, тъй като тази е най-новия член на семейството и не съм спряла да я използвам откакто я купих, исках да споделя мнението си за нея - Sweet Peach от Too Faced.

It comes in this super cute packaging, which is typical for the brand. The style of it is definitely not for everyone, but I like it. The palette itself feels fairly heavy and sturdy and it shuts securely, so I would say it's good for travelling. One of the cutest things about it is that it smells like peaches even before you open it, which on one hand is so nice and makes it stand out from the rest, but on the other - extra chemicals added and you put that shit on your eyes.

Опаковката е супер сладка, което е типично за марката. Стилът им определено не е за всеки, но на мен ми допада. Самата палитра се усеща леко тежка, но се затваря сигурно, така че бих казала, че е добра за пътуване. Едно от най-сладките неща е, че мирише на праскови, дори когато е затворена, което от една страна е супер приятно и я отличава от останалите, но от друга - това са допълнителни химикали, които слагате на очите си.

When you open it, you can see all the gorgeous colours, which were the reason why I got it in the first place. I feel like they're so universal and I can see myself wearing every single one of them (apart from the green) and doing so many different looks. There are 18 shades in total, which for the price is amazing and there are no brushes, which I actually like. There is a small mirror, which could come in handy if you're travelling, but I generally don't care if the palette has a mirror or not.

Мисля, че са универсални и бих носила всички цветове (освен зеления) и бих направила различни гримове с нея. Има общо 18 цвята, което за цената е невероятно и няма четки, което всъщност ми харесва. Има малко огледалце, което би свършило работа, ако пътувате, но на мен по принцип не ми пука дали в палитрите има огледало или не.

There is a variety of colours and finishes - from nudes to purple and black shades and matte, satin and glittery finishes. I would say all of them are pretty opaque, but the satin ones are not on the same level as the rest. The shades I tend to reach for the most on a daily basis are White Peach, Georgia and Puree, which are all mattes. They're definitely long wearing, but I haven't applied them without a primer or at least concealer underneath.

Разнообразието от цветове и финиши е голямо - от неутрални до лилаво и черно и матов, сатенен е блестящ финиш. Бих казала, че всички са доста наситени, но сатенените не са на същото ниво като останалите. Цветовете, към които аз посягам ежедневно са White Peach, Georgia и Puree, които са матови. Определено са дълготрайни, но не съм ги нанасяла без база или поне коректор отдолу.

All in all, I'm really impressed with this palette. It's perfect for everyday looks, but gives you the option to play with the colours and create a smokey eye for example.It's my first eyeshadow palette by Too Faced, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the brand for more!

APRIL FAVOURITES

I actually haven't done any monthly favourites so far this year for one reason or another, but I've finally got round to doing this post. I've been buying a lot of makeup recently and I'm not proud, but that also means more things to write about. Here's what I've been loving for the month of April (and probs not only).

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation

I recently did a separate review on this one, which you can read here, but basically it makes my skin look so healthy and glowing and has decent coverage as well.

Наскоро писах отделно ревю за него, което можете да прочетете тук, но накратко, кожата ми изглежда толкова озарена и здрава, и има добро покритие.

Catrice Camouflage Cream Concealer

This to me is still the best concealer for covering up spots and since I've had a few breakouts recently, it's come in especially handy. I apply it with a little lip brush on the spots and set it with powder and it just works wonders.

Това за мен все още е най-добрият коректор за прикриване на пъпки. Тъй като имах доста напоследък, той влезе в употреба. Нанасям го с малка четка за устни върху пъпките и го запечатвам с пудра. Направо върши чудеса.

Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter & H&M Blush

The oh-so-overhyped Champagne Pop highlighter by Becca didn't impress me much at first, because I'd been using Mary Loumanizer for ages and there was almost no difference between the two. But I've been reaching more for Champagne Pop recently, because I've been using fake tan and it's just perfect - very long lasting, buttery and opaque. The blush is the perfect colour for this time of year.

Толкова хваленият хайлайтър Champagne Pop от Becca не ме впечатли много първоначално, защото бях използвала Mary Loumanizer с векове и почти не открих разлика между двата. Но напоследък посягам повече към Champagne Pop, защото използвам повече изкуствен тен и е просто перфектен - много дълготраен, маслен и наситен. Ружът е перфектният цвят за това време на годината.

Maybelline Brow Precise Micro Pencil

I had been looking for a product like this for soooo long and when I saw it in the drugstore, I had to get it. It's so precise and the colour is perfect for me. I think the only problem is I'll run out too fast, but I use up around one eyebrow pencil a month anyway 😄

Търсех такъв продукт от тооооолкова време и когато го видях в Лили, трябваше да го взема. Толкова е прецизен и цветът е перфектен за мен. Мисля, че единственият проблем е, че ще го привърша много бързо, но пък така или иначе изразходвам по един молив за вежди на месец 😄

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

I got this from Sephora when I was in Sofia and I went for the travel size, because I had heard a lot of mixed reviews, but I absolutely fell in love with it. It lengthens and separates the lashes so well and lasts all day without smudging.

Взех си я от Sephora в София и се насочих към мини размера, защото бях чувала доста смесени мнения, но се влюбих в нея. Удължава и разделя миглите толкова добре и издържа цял ден без да се размазва.

Charlotte Tilbury Kim KW lipstick

This is from her Hot Lips range and I went for this colour, because it looked like the perfect nude and I was right. It's very light and pink, so it wouldn't work well on all skin tones, but for anyone with a light to medium complexion, it's amazing.

Това е от Hot Lips серията й и избрах този цвят, защото изглеждаше като перфектния нюуд и бях права. Много светъл и розов е, така че не би стоял добре на всички цветове на кожата, но за всеки със светла до средна, е перфектен.

Yu Ling Jade Roller

I got this as a freebie with my latest Cult Beauty order and I'm not sure if it actually helps my skin, but massaging my face with it is so relaxing and I feel refreshed after.

Получих го безплатно с последната си поръчка от Cult Beauty и не съм сигурна дали помага на кожата ми, но масажирането на лицето ми с него е супер релаксиращо и се чувствам освежена след това.

Yves Rocher Noix de Coco

I love the smell of coconuts so much and I'd been eyeing this EDP by Yves Rocher for quite a while now. I thought it would be perfect for summer, too.

Обожавам аромата на кокос и си бях набелязала тази тоалетна вода от Yves Rocher от известно време. Реших и че ще е перфектна за лятото.

I got a new pair of sunnies from H&M as well. I have so many, but a new one is essential every summer. I really need a clean up though haha.

Взех си и нов чифт слънчеви очила от H&M. Имам толкова много, но всяко лято си вземам нови. Наистина трябва да ги разчистя обаче.

THE BIGGEST BEAUTY HAUL EVER

Okay, first of all, let me just say I'm not doing this to brag, I love reading this type of posts. I really went overboard this time, all of these were purchased during the past two weeks and there are two PR packages as well.

Добре, първо искам да кажа, че не правя това, за да се хваля, обичам да чета такъв тип публикации. Наистина прекалих този път, защото всички тези неща са купени през последните две седмици, но има и два PR пакета.

Sephora

Starting with probably the most exciting one, I finally got the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette. I love how many colours it has, they're all quite opaque and it actually does smell like peaches. So far, I'm loving it!

Започваме с вероятно най-вълнуващото. Най-накрая се сдобих с палитрата Sweet Peach на Too Faced. Има супер много цветове, всички са доста наситени и наистина мирише на праскови. Засега съм впечатлена!

I was hesitating on whether I should get a full size mascara or two mini ones and finally decided on the Better Than Sex by Too Faced mini (which I have full size as well, it's my favourite) and Roller Lash by Benefit (which has mixed reviews, but I've worn it a few times already and I'm loving it). I also got a nose strip, which I already used - it had a good result, but most of my blackheads are on my cheeks, which it didn't reach, and a hydrating sheet mask for the lips, which I'm wearing right now. And then, I got a few samples, which I have yet to try.

Чудех се дали да си взема една спирала пълен размер или две минита и накрая се спрях на Better Than Sex от Too Faced (която имам и в пълен размер, любимец ми е) и Roller Lash от Benefit (за която имаше смесени мнения, но я носих няколко пъти вече и ми харесва много). Също си взех и лентичка за носа, която вече използвах - имаше добър резултат, но повечето от черните ми точки са на бузите, които тя не достигна, както и хидратираща маска за устни, която използвам в момента. Получих и няколко мостри, които все още не съм пробвала.

MAC

I can't not stop by MAC when I go to Sofia and I always get something. I was looking for a cute lipstick for the summer in a coral/pink shade and after swatching almost everything they had, I decided on Please Me, because it's matte and a really pretty colour.

Не мога да не мина през MAC, когато съм в София и винаги си вземам по нещо. Търсех си червило за лятото в коралово/розов нюанс и след като суочнах почти всичко, което имаха, избрах Please Me, защото е матово и много красив цвят.

LUSH

I couldn't resist Lush either. I got two well known products - the Bubblegum Lip Scrub, cause my lips desperately need it and the Mask of Magnaminty, which I've already tried and love.

Не можах да устоя и на Lush. Взех си два известни продукта - скрабът за устни с дъвка и Mask of Magnaminty, която съм използвала и обожавам.

Lilly

We should have this in Varna too, but I hadn't seen it, so I got it when I went into Lilly. It's a greyish blue hairspray, which should show up really well on my light blonde hair and I'm really excited to try it.

Би трябвало да имаме това и във Варна, но не го бях виждала, затова си го взех, когато влязох в Lilly. Сивеещ син спрей за коса е, който би трябвало да изглежда много добре на светлорусата ми коса и нямам търпение да го пробвам.

NYX

I did an ASOS haul as well, but that's a whole other topic. I'm just gonna show the two NYX bits I got from there - the Lingerie liquid lipstick in Ruffle Trim (love the colour) and the HD Studio Photogenic loose powder, which I'm not really sure about.

Поръчах си и доста неща от ASOS, но това е съвсем друга тема. Сега ще покажа само двата продукта на NYX, които взех - течното червило Lingerie в цвят Ruffle Trim (много е хубав) и HD Studio Photogenic пудрата, за която не съм много сигурна.

Cult Beauty

I got an email from Cult Beauty that I could get a jade facial roller for free and since I had a few products I'd had my eye on, I went for it. I got the Huda Beauty liquid lipstick in Bombshell and let me say it's the bomb. The other thing was the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation and it's perfect for my skin, just what I wanted.

Получих имейл от Cult Beauty, че мога да взема нефритен ролър за лице и тъй като имах няколко продукти, които си бях набелязала, си ги поръчах. Взех си течното червило на Huda Beauty в цвят Bombshell и наистина е невероятно, както и фон дьо тена на Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder, който е перфектен за кожата ми и точно това, което исках.

Avon

Now we have the two PR packages. First, from Avon I received some anti cellulite products, which I'm very excited to try, cause to be honest, I really need them, the struggle is real.

И сега към двата PR пакета. Първо, от Avon получих няколко неща против целулит, които нямам търпение да пробвам, защото ако трябва да съм честна, наистина имам нужда от тях.

Titania

And from Titania I got some products for the feet, which I've given to my mum, because I don't have any problems, while she has really dry heels.

А от Titania получих няколко продукта за крака, които подарих на мама, защото нямам проблеми, а тя има много сухи пети.

H&M

Of course H&M is gonna be in this post, too. They need to start paying me at this point. Like, I'm joking, but umm... I'm including just a few tops for fun. I'm really feeling pink and red tones.

Разбира се, че H&M ще присъства и в този пост. Трябва да започнат да ми плащат вече. Смисъл, шегувам се, но ъмм... Включвам няколко блузки ей така. В настроение за розово и червено съм напоследък.

Bayern München

I've mentioned before what a huge FC Bayern fan I am and I got my second jersey recently. This time it's my favourite design this season - the Champions League away one with Mats Hummels' number (I'm in mourning that he's injured rn).

И преди съм споменавала какъв голям фен на Байерн съм и наскоро си взех втората тяхна тениска. Тази е любимата ми за този сезон - гостуващата за Шампионска лига с номера на Матс Хумелс (оплаквам го, че е контузен в момента).

NEW IN FROM ESSENCE

Today I wanna share some of the new products I got from Essence Cosmetics and my first thoughts on them. I received a really cute package last week with all of these goodies and I'm gonna give you some info on their latest launches.

Днес искам да споделя с вас най-новите продукти на Essence и първите ми впечатления от тях. Получих много сладък пакет миналата седмица с всички тези красоти и днес ще ви дам малко информация за тях.

Eyes & Face Palette

This is an eyeshadow quad and a highlighter and blush shade. I had no expectations whatsoever, but I was really really impressed by the quality, especially of the eyeshadows. They're buttery, very opaque and blend well. It's also very convenient for travelling, because of its size.

Това е палитра с четири сенки, хайлайтър и руж. Нямах никакви очаквания, но останах наистина впечатлена от качеството, особено на сенките. Много са наситени, не са ронливи и се разнасят добре. Също така е удобна за пътуване, заради размера.

Luminous Matte Bronzing Powder

This product is essentially a bronzer, which has two parts - a matte outer circle and shimmer in the center. It looks light, but it turned out to be the perfect shade for my pale skin. It's great for warming up the skin, but I wouldn't recommend it for contouring, because it's quite warm.

Този продукт е бронзър, който има две части - матов външен кръг и блясък в центъра. Изглежда светъл, но се оказа перфектен за бледата ми кожа. Страхотен е за затопляне на кожата, но не бих го препоръчала за контуриране, защото е топъл.

Shine Shine Shine Lip Gloss

First of all, let me just say, that I'm not the biggest lip gloss fan. That being said, I like this one, because it's not sticky and it's very opaque. The colour I have is a gorgeous red.

Първо искам да кажа, че не съм най-големият фен на гланцовете за устни. Имайки това предвид, този ми допадна, защото не е много лепкав и е наситен. Цветът, който имам е красиво червено.

The Gel and Glow & Care Nail Polishes

The nude nail polish was a disappointment - I tried wearing it twice, but couldn't because it just took way too long to dry. I love the colour, but I just couldn't make it work. I haven't tried the other one yet, so I'm hoping for better results.

Неутралният лак беше голямо разочарование - опитах се да го нося два пъти, но не успях, просто защото му отне твърде дълго да изсъхне. Цветът ми харесва, но просто не се сработихме. Не съм пробвала другия все още и се надявам на по-добри резултати.

Volume Stylist Mascara

I loooove this mascara. It reminds me of Better Than Sex by Too Faced. It gives a lot of volume to the lashes without clumping them. It doesn't flake and really does last a long time, even though I'm not sure if it's 18 hours, as promised.

Мноооого харесвам тази спирала. Напомня ми на Better Than Sex от Too Faced. Придава много обем на миглите без да ги сплъстява. Не се рони и наистина издържа дълго време, въпреки че не съм сигурна дали е 18 часа, както обещава.
