My Week In Pictures

This is my week in photos. I had some highs and lows, but mostly it was nice and relaxing. I'm not aspiring to be a photographer, nor will I ever be. I don't have a nice camera. I use one I bought 6 years ago - Samsung L100. I increase the quality of the photos a lot by editing them and that's it. I hope you had a good week to...

Enzo.bg, Victoria’s Secret и Rimmel London Ревю

To any international readers, I’m sorry but this post is going to be in Bulgarian only. It’s a review of a Bulgarian cosmetics website. I will be posting more in English, but it didn’t make sense for this to be translated, because it’s going to be quite long.

All Green Salad With Curry Chicken (Recipe)

As I have mentioned before, one of my favourite things to eat and prepare is a salad. There are so many options to choose from and I love eating fresh ingredients. You can hardly go wrong when making a salad and it's the best way to experiment in the kitchen. The salad I prepared today was very green. Green is my favourite colour and weirdly, I find green vegetables the best and most trustworthy, unlike little kids (I still consider myself a kid too). The ingredients I used are: 4-5 lettuce leaves (you can add or take, depending on the amount you want to eat) A quarter of an avocado Half a fresh green pepper About 1/5 of a cucumber Quarter of a baked chicken breast Red curry paste A tiny amount of French dressing Himalayan salt Olive oil I baked the chicken in the oven first, sprinkled...

OOTD: Job Interview & A Walk In The Green

I had a job interview today for a spot I'm really hoping I'll get. Basically, it's one of the things I've been hoping to do when I grow up. I will post details if I get hired. After the interview, I had an ice tea and went for a walk with my mom. The weather was perfect for that - it wasn't too hot. Here's how I looked while doing that. Shirt: Pull&Bear Skirt: H&M Shoes: H&M (I am aware that my feet look tiny) Bag: The Internet haha it's a Hermes knock off if you couldn't tell I love this necklace, but I've had it for a long time and I'm not sure where I got it from. It must have been H&M. Here's a closer look at my bag and watch, which again, don't know where I bought from. The colour on my nails is Lovie Dovie by Essie. ...

Today's Breakfast

I finally couldn't stand how unhealthy I had become (literally could not stand, because my body kind of gave up), so I decided to make a change in my life, starting from my diet. By diet, I don't mean trying to lose weight, because I am perfectly fine with mine. I mean just taking more notice of the things I eat. I know I can't switch from eating crisps, pizza and fried chicken to fruit and salads in a day, so I'm making it a more gradual change, replacing the things I used to eat with healthy alternatives one by one.  Starting from my breakfast today. I made myself a mix of probiotic yogurt with fruit cereal, chia seeds (I love them), cherries, half a kiwi and half a banana. I usually have a hard time eating fruit, because I get sick when eating most of it, especially bananas, but...

Mini Rimmel London Haul

As you may have guessed by now, Rimmel London is one of my favourite (if not my favourite) drugstore make-up brands. I recently went on enzo.bg and couldn't help but order a few things. I have ordered things from the website before and I would definitely recommend it, because the prices are way lower than in stores. I don't know if it's for Bulgarian citizens only, but it might be. Anyway, my order got delivered yesterday and here's what I got: The first thing I had wanted for a long time, because I ran out of powder anyway and it's Tanya Burr's favourite one and I trust her. I got the Stay Matte Powder in the shade 003 Peach Glow. I'd say it matches my skin tone pretty well, but I haven't tried it out yet. Next, I bought the Natural Bronzer in 026 Sun Kissed, which is actually...

Hair Colour History

If you know me, you'd know that I change the colour of my hair quite often. I'm not afraid to take a risk and sometimes it pays off. Other times... well. Anyway, my natural hair colour is a dark ashy brown as you can see below. (Excuse my 14-year-old self, I didn't know how to take selfies back then) I first dyed my hair in June 2010 and it was pretty much a disaster. It went bright orange and I had to dye it again the following day. Here's how it looked like. I was 15, so not really adequate yet. Then, I got bored with it and wanted to go back to my natural colour, so I dyed it again. This time, it turned out almost black. Obviously, I still didn't know quite what I was doing. After that, I think the dye gradually washed out and I cut it pretty short for me. That...

Currently Craving: Quinoa

I got more into cooking recently (since I watched a dozen seasons of Masterchef) and so I have started paying more attention to what I eat and how I prepare it. One of my favourite things to eat right now is quinoa. It's exotic, delicious and healthy. A way I like to serve it is in a salad, which consists of lettuce, peeled tomatoes, feta cheese, a boiled egg and of course, quinoa. I like to add French dressing and just a bit of soy sauce for a more specific flavour (also, quinoa goes great with soy sauce). Finally, I season it with Himalayan salt and olive oil. I sometimes tend to add some other ingredients I find in the fridge, like raw mushrooms or pepper. Do note, that quinoa is quite expensive compared to rice for example, but if you have not tried it before, it's definitely...
