It's time for another beauty battle. Today I decided to compare two foundations I've used - Affinitone by Maybelline and True Match by L'Oreal.
Starting from the packaging, you can see obvious differences. Affinitone comes in a plastic tube that you have to squeeze for the product to come out. True Match is in a glass container with a pump you push. I definitely prefer the packaging of True Match. I think it's easier to use and it prevents extra product from spilling out. I often find that when I squeeze the tube of Affinitone, way more product than I need comes out.

Време е за още една бюти битка. Днес реших да сравня два фон дьо тена, които съм използвала - Affinitone на Maybelline и True Match на L'Oreal.
Като започнем от опаковката, можем да видим очевидни разлики. Affinitone е в пластмасова тубичка, която трябва да стиснеш, за да излезе продукт. True Match е в стъклена бутилка с помпичка, която се натиска. Определено предпочитам опаковката на True Match. Мисля, че е по-лесна за използване и предотвратява разливането на ненужен продукт. Често, когато стисна тубичката на Affinitone, много повече продукт, отколкото ми е трябвал, излиза.
Affinitone by Maybelline is an affordable foundation. The quality you get for the price is definitely okay. It isn't very longlasting and even the lightest shade doesn't match my face, so I have to blend down my neck a lot. The finish is matte and it provides light to medium coverage. I would say that it's a bit drying on the skin, even if you've applied moisturizer before using it. Also, it may or may not cause an outbreak.

Affinitone на Maybelline е достъпен фон дьо тен. Качеството, което получавате за цената определено е добро. Не е много дълготраен и дори най-светлият цвят не съвпада с кожата ми, затова трябва да го нанасям и на врата. Финишът е матов и покритието е леко до средно. Бих казала, че е леко изсушаващ на кожата, дори ако нанесете хидратиращ крем предварително. Също така, може или може да не причинява пъпки.
True Match by L'Oreal is definitely pricier. I have it in the shade C2, which is the lightest available in Bulgaria. Again, it doesn't match my colour perfectly, but it's easier to blend. The coverage is light to medium too, but you can layer it up if you need to. The finish is satin and under some lights you can see shimmer in it. I'm not sure how it would work with greasy skin, because mine is dry, but I'm quite happy with it.

True Match на L'Oreal определено е по-скъп. Имам цвета C2, което е най-светлият цвят достъпен в България. Отново, не съвпада перфектно с кожата ми, но е лесен за разнасяне. Покритието също е леко до средно, но може да се наслои, ако е нужно. Финишът е сатенен и под някои светлини се вижда малко блясък. Не съм сигурна как би се сработил с мазна кожа, защото моята е суха, но съм доволна от него.
The one on the left is True Match and the right is Affinitone. Both have yellow undertones and my skin has pink. Affinitone is obviously darker and less natural. I would say that my personal favourite is True Match. It works better with my skin and lasts longer.

Този вляво е True Match, а вдясно - Affinitone. И двата са с жълти подтонове, а кожата ми е с розови. Affinitone очевидно е по-тъмен и по-неестествен. Бих казала, че личният ми любимец е True Match. По-добре се сработва с кожата ми и издържа по-дълго.
